6 Week - Adult Beginning Wheel Pottery Class

This beginner-friendly course introduces students to the fundamentals of working on the potter’s wheel in a structured, supportive studio environment. Over six weeks, you will learn to wedge clay, center with confidence, pull consistent cylinders, throw bowls, trim leather-hard pieces, and apply custom surface decorations and glazes.

By the end of the term, you will take home multiple finished, functional ceramic pieces while building strong technical habits and confidence on the wheel.

Prerequisites & Progression: Completion of this course is required before enrolling in Intermediate or Advanced classes at Clayworks, unless prior experience is approved by an instructor.
