The tried and true BMX: a classic creamy white mid-fire stoneware. With a tested and reliable firing range between cone 5 and cone 7. If you are searching for a light creamy warm white throwing body that is easy to use and accepts a wide range of your own glaze formulas, as well as commercial glazes, then this is the clay for you!
We have blended the optimum percentage of clays and raw materials to achieve a smooth soft white clay that can excels on the wheel and is great for first time throwers. Depending on the amount of reduction in a gas kiln, BMX fires white to a light sky gray.
