It fires to a tan to gray-brown color in reduction, with a medium texture that enhances its workability. With a firing range up to cone 10, it features a shrinkage rate of 14%, a low absorption rate of 0.1%, and pentrometers at 7, ensuring durability and resilience. Available in 25lb blocks, High Hills II provides reliable performance, but be cautious not to over-reduce during firing to achieve optimal results.
